Romanos 9:8 dice que "no los que son hijos según the flesh are the children of God but who are children of the promise are counted as descendants. "Instead of being born as children of God, born in sin, which separates us from God and puts us next to Satan as enemies of God John 8:43. A verse later, in John 8:44, Jesucrsito told the Pharisees, "Ye are of your father the devil and the lusts of your father ye will do."

In the word of God, we see that not all children of God, on the contrary, the person who has Jesus Christ in his life, is given the title of being children of the devil, because the gospel and rechanzan Jesus Christ in his life, the fact that those who are unsaved are not children of God. Also shown in 1 John 3:10, "This is how we the children of God, and the children of the devil, anyone who does not do justice, and that does not love his brother is not of God." Ephesians

5:5-6 For this you know, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. No one deceive you with empty words, because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

People Without Christ, has always occupied his mind, to do evil, to do things that please God, by contrast, can not be children of God, for such things to do and gives them pleasure. Lucas

16:15 Then I said, Ye are they who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts, for what men are sublime, is an abomination before God.

2 Corinthians 4:4 in whose case the god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

The God of this world is Satan, so all those who love the world, its vices, pleasures, the vangloria of life and love but he also be enlarging the world and not God, so they are both being children of Satan and not God. because they love but the God of this world and what gives them their lives. People without God, he always wants to please the world and worldly things, and delights, greed and pride of life, fame, the things the world offers as called happiness, and that seems sublime or good for the world for God is an abomination because people without God, they have their minds on God and his ways, and their goals are always to please the world and enjoy the things of the world.

We become children of God when we are saved because we are adopted into God's family through our relationship with Jesus Christ Galatians 4:5-6, Ephesians 1:5. This can be clearly seen in verses like Romans 8:14-17. "For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. You have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba Father! The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, with Him to be glorified. "Those who are saved are" sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. "Galatians 3:26 because God has "predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will." Ephesians 1:5.

We conclude that we accept Jesus Christ as Savior are not children of God, but creations of God, to become children of wrath or evil, to know that you are saved and become part of the family of God osea be a Son of God, through you know what the scriptures tell us is "the word of God":

Accepting Jesus Christ in your life as your savior you is the Son of God John 1

: 12 But as many as received Him, to those who believe in His name, He gave power to become children of God.

people receive as their Savior the Lord Jesus Christ, and personal guidance in your life, they become children of God is only accepting Christ in your life, you be the son of God. not to have Jesus in your life, you can not son of God.

Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father!

Those who accept Christ, are adopted by God, again, in Christ Jesus, but those who reject Jesus Christ are not adopted.

Galatians 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, we might receive adoption as sons.

Therefore, if we were judged under the law, the 10 commandments, no flesh be saved, so the only solution for every human being is to accept Jesus Christ into your life, so would be adopted by God again as a new creature of God, and you will be saved by grace. which is in Jesus Christ. We

Sons of Light through Jesus Christ:

John 12:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be children of light.

1 Thessalonians 5:5 Ye are all sons of light and sons of the day are not of night nor of darkness.

Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now you are light in the Lord: walk as children of light

As the Son of God, you light that is in the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the gospel, as truth and the Holy Spirit who bears witness to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore in another life we were before the children of disobedience, children of Satan, loving the world and its pleasures the pride of life, our mind and our paths were crooked, without God, salvation and no hope, but now we are saved by the grace of God that is in Christ Jesus and the true light, who is the son of God, God tells us to be light, and walk as children of light. Returning

that not all are children of God, disobedient children, not have Jesus Christ in their lives, and can not be children of light and be saved, you want to belong to the family of God, "and the Son of God accept in your heart as your savior Unico and guide in your life, the Lord Jesus Christ, and give him your life and you will be saved and have eternal life forever.

THINKING MAN VIII History of the Christian martyrs. II

Following the second part of the history of Christian martyrs in this post I want to write about some other persecutions that were relevant and very important to the point that today we can understand what really lived these true believers to Christ that did not sell their faith, nor merchant with her at his whim.
Friends, oh but painful truth that is real, what we know as the Church was born and raised in the middle of extreme suffering fully bathed in blood and then be studying today I am convinced that what is taught and lived in many Christian circles today, is not even 5% of the truth preached by the First Apostles and by Jesus Christ, but I think I'll have time to write about these new issues will emerge gradually and which post them on this blog.

The lives of these early Christians were first expressed by the Roman Coliseum and the Catacombs, which were under Rome in its subways, which were the graves of thousands of thousands of Christians also martyred and hundreds of pagan Romans. In these catacombs were placed bodies and were closed with a slab of marble. Years later when Christian tombs were opened skeletons told the terrible story, severed heads were found in the body, broken ribs and collar bones, bleached bones by the fire but in spite of all this you could read the inscriptions of peace and joy and triumph
"Here lies Marcia, put to rest in a dream of peace."
"Lorenzo to his sweetest son, borne by angels."
"Victorious in peace and in Christ."
"When called, it was peace. "

Quite contrary to the tombstones of the Roman pagans who did not die but their tombstones saying suffering things like
"Live for the present time, because we are sure of nothing."
"I raise my hand against the gods that I took from twenty years but had done nothing wrong."
"Once was not. Now I'm not. I know nothing about it, and it is not my concern. "
" Pilgrim, do not curse me as you pass here, because I am in darkness and I can not answer. "

The Top 10 Persecution: Persecution against Christians
have existed thousands but I want to play the first 10 well above persecution since I can not dwell much and I was bored.

The 1st Christian Persecution: As
mentioned in the first article, the first persecution of the Church took place in AD 67 by Nero, the sixth emperor of Rome. Who ruled for 5 years so intolerable rampant becoming a true barbarian.
ordered his officers to set fire to the city of Rome, killing thousands and destroying everything around to make things worse and decided to accuse the Christians of those facts. But that's not all.

The Pursuit 2Ra, under the power of the 81 DC
Domitian Domitian was a very cruel emperor who killed his own brother and some Roman senators in order to confiscate their farms and then whip the Christians into a horrendous persecution .
Among the martyrs who suffered the brunt of this cruel emperor is: Bishop Simeon of Jerusalem who was crucified, and St. John the writing of Revelation who was cast alive into a cauldron and boiled in hot oil, but miraculously lived and was exiled to Patmos .
Dionysius the Areopagite, Nicodemus, Protasio, Gervasio and one of the most famous for his participation in the New Testament, Paul's young disciple Timothy, who led the church until 97d.C jealously, time where the pagans celebrated the festival Timothy's Catagogión and opposed the procession, severely reproved the people for such idolatry that made it so exasperated that the people themselves in the midst of their pagan practices will fall to clean stick and beat him so badly that he died 2 days after the effect of many blows.

The 3rd Pursuit, under the power of the 108 AD Trojano
Under this emperor and his successor Hadrian suffered as martyrs
Ignacio: Who has happened in Asia (Turkey), confirming the area's church preached the word of God. This man died devoured by wild beasts (lions)
Alejandro bishop in Rome, Quirinius and Hermes with all their families and about 10,000 Christians, many of whom were crucified on Mount Ararat, crowned with thorns, others pierced with spears in an imitation THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST.
also I have to highlight the life of a brave Roman commander Eustaquio become a Christian who refused to join in an idolatrous sacrifice and by this decision, the emperor ordered his full martyrdom with her entire family.

The 4th Chase, under the rule of Marcus Aurelius in 162 AD
Marcus Aurelius was a man severe and rigid. The cruelties run in this persecution were so great that many viewers of Honor shuddered at the sight and were astonished at the value of suffering.
Some of the martyrs were obliged to pass, with their already wounded feet, over thorns, nails, sharp shells, etc.., Peak positions, others were beaten until they were at view their sinews and veins, and, having suffered the most excruciating tortures that could be invented, were destroyed by the most feared death.
Germanicus, a young man, but a true Christian, being delivered to the beasts to
Cause of his faith, behaved with such astonishing courage that several pagans were converted to the faith which inspired such courage.

Polycarp, the venerable bishop of Smyrna, hid when they heard that you were looking for, but was discovered by a child. After taking a meal to the guards that he was on, asked an hour of prayer, which allowed him, and prayed with such fervor that the guards felt that they had arrested have. However, he was brought before the proconsul, and was condemned and burned at the market square.

Metrodorus, a minister who preached boldly, and Pionius, who made several excellent apologia for Christian faith, were also burned. Carpo and papillae, two worthy Christians, and Agathon, a pious woman, suffered martyrdom in Pergamópolis in Asia.
Also, Bibles, a weak woman who had previously been apostate. Attalus of Pergamum, Pothinus, the venerable bishop of Lyons, who ienía nineties. The day Blandina and three champions of the faith were brought to the amphitheater, she was hung on a tree set on the ground, and exposed as food to wild beasts, "while she, with her earnest prayers, encouraged other

The 5th Persecution, under the power of Severus AD 192
Among the martyrs of this persecution may be mentioned: wife of 22
Perpetua years married pregnant woman who was arrested and mistreated, Revocatus, Saturnino (Degollado) Secundulus (died in prison), Satur, who were taken to the amphitheater and began running from hungry beasts, but before that put them in 2 rows and the severely flogged.
Felicitas and Perpetua were stripped to tear them to a bull who first launched against her unconscious life then rushed Felicitas and the floor badly but since it was not the executioner killed were beheaded with a sword. All this happened on March 8
205
The 6th Pursuit, under the power of Maximinus in 235 AD
The principal persons who perished under this reign were Pontian, bishop of Rome; Anteros among others. In this persecution, thousands of Christians were executed without trial, and buried in heaps 50 0 60 together in a common grave.

The Pursuit 7TA, under the power of Decius in 249 AD

The 8tava Persecution, under the power of Valerian in AD 257
The most eminent martyrs were the following, but not respected nor rank, nor sex or age.

Rufina and Secunda were two beautiful and accomplished ladies, daughters of Asterio, a gentleman of eminence in Rome who sealed their martyrdom with their blood.
Stephen, bishop of Rome, was beheaded in the same year, and about that time Saturninus, the pious orthodox bishop of Toulouse, refusing to sacrifice to idols, was treated with all the barbarous indignities imaginable,

The ninth persecution under 9 the power of Aurelian in AD 274
Major who suffered in this were: Felix, bishop of Rome. The bishop agreed to the See of Rome in 274. It was the first martyr to Aurelian's petulance, being beheaded on December 22 that year.

Agapito, a young gentleman, who had sold their possessions and gave the money to the poor, was arrested as a Christian, tortured and then beheaded at Praeneste, a city a day trip to Rome.

These are the only martyrs who were registered during this reign, which came to an end soon, as the Emperor in Byzantium killed by their own servants

The 10 Tenth Persecution, under the rule of Diocletian in 303 AD
Persecution became general in all the Roman provinces, but mainly in the east. As it lasted ten years, it is impossible to determine the number of martyrs, or to enumerate the various modes of martyrdom.

Colts whips, swords, daggers, crosses, poison and famine were used in different places to kill Christians, and ran out the imagination in the effort to devise tortures against such as had not committed any crime, but thinking differently followers of superstition.

A city of Phrygia, consisting entirely of Christians, was burnt, and all the inhabitants perished in the flames.

This is just a short summary of the first 10 Persecutions by which spent hundreds of thousands of Christians but much more like the persecution of Christians in Persia, Papal Persecutions, The History of the Inquisition, History of persecution in Italy under the Papacy, History of life and all the persecutions of John Wycliffe, spersecuiones The history of the papacy in Bohemia, The persecution of my friend Luther, The persecutions in Germany, Netherlands and lso the persecution of William Tyndale and all the history of large Bretal persecuciín and Ireland before the reign of Queen Mary I and dimensions or the suffering of the Quaker, John Wesley, John Bunyan, and early American missions abroad! Phew

have much to tell.
The only truth in all this is that these men never SOLD HIS FAITH, not for the price of a sword, burned alive, stoned, shipwrecked, Beheaded, Burned in Oil etc. .

These men died for the cause of Christ, Faith never traded if not killed by it.
These were and are true man of God, not what the TV we want to sell, Men who trade with the FE and jeer at all the ignorant people that go after Christianity formulas false allure of shearers to Pastors sheep, do trade with them, do not return the sheep to the fold and if they leave their "church" is because they do nothing and took GOD WHY ARE CISAN "Ezekiel 34:1-7

History of the Christian martyrs. I THOUGHT OF MAN

In recent weeks, I've been reading a lot about the early Christians, and the history of the First Bible Church, who inflamed with the love of Jesus Christ, they were willing to suffer the most terrible persecution by the hand of kings, monarchs, governors etc.

Reading a very interesting book author and biographer John Fox titled "The Book of Martyrs" has led me to begin a series of articles on this subject so very interesting. That many today are unaware of or forgot the worst because many are not interested in theme or because they think it's in the past and never again raise. But the truth is that what we now know as the Church was born and raised in the midst of extreme suffering completely bathed in blood.
But if we would have to ask some questions based on. Eschatological Bible theme, (which many people do not like this topic because not even know what is Eschatology if they are and feel the same way they say they believe the big TV preachers and writers of such famous novels we see in our libraries Christian), then we ask: Will you live the church
such suffering as lived again Paul, Peter, Mark, etc? or will we be kidnapped in a secret rapture and those who will suffer will be those who remain and the Jews in the tribulation ? If Paul and Peter lived after Jesus' ascension Why we like them if they died as martyrs who happen to me? No, I will panic because I am Panamanian and evangelical?.

The first persecution of the Church took place in AD 67, under Nero, the sixth emperor of Rome. This monarch reigned for the space of five years in a tolerable, but then gave the greatest and most heinous debauchery atrocities Other diabolical whims, he ordered the city of Rome was set on fire, which order was executed by his officers, guards and servants. This terrible fire raged for nine years. When Nero found that his conduct was heavily censored, and that was the subject of deep hatred, decided to blame the Christians, at once to excuse himself to take the opportunity to complete your look with new cruelties. This was the cause of the first persecution, and the brutalities committed against the Christians were such that even the Romans moved to compassion.
In particular, led some Christians to be sewn in the skins of wild animals, dogs cravings until they expire, others were dressed in shirts stiffened with wax, tying them to stakes, and turned in their gardens, to enlighten them.
persecutions were a lot more quiet and more see article for example, Domitian, Trajan, Marcus Aurelius, Severus, Decius, Valerian etc.
But today I want to reflect a little written about killed the chief writers of the biblical Gospels, letters and key characters, until the first general persecution at the hands of Nero.
The idea of this article is nothing more than make memories and give my respects to men and servants of God who set the world who are examples of life for all and who left everything for Jesus, who had the courage to die Crucified , stoned, slapped and insulted by a single truth, the truth that today we can get our hands on "THE BIBLE" God's truth. We can not imagine As we learn from men like Paul, Peter, Mark etc. Matthew

His profession was a tax collector, was born in Nazareth. Wrote his Gospel in Hebrew, which was then translated into Greek by James the Less. The scene of his labors was Parthia, and Ethiopia, where he suffered martyrdom, being slain with a halberd in the city of swam in the year 60 AD

San Marcos was born to Jewish parents of the tribe of Levi. Was supposedly converted to Christianity by Peter, who served as an amanuensis, and under whose care he wrote his Gospel in Greek. Mark was dragged to pieces by the people of Alexandria in great solemnity of Serapis their idol, ending his life under their merciless hands. Pedro

Among many other saints, the blessed apostle Peter was condemned to death yCrucificado, as some write, at Rome, but others, and not without good reason, have their doubts about it. Hegesippus says Peter Nero sought to give reasons against death, and when the people realized, repeatedly begged Peter to flee the city.
Pedro, at the insistence of them, was finally convinced and prepared to flee. But, coming to the door, saw the Lord Christ go to him, who, adoring, said: "Lord, where are you going?" To which He replied: "To be crucified again." With this, Peter, realizing that he was referring to his own suffering, he returned to the city. Jerome says he was crucified head down, feet up, at his request, because it was said, unworthy to be crucified in the same form and manner as the Lord.

Paul.
also the apostle Paul, formerly called Saul, after his great work and obraIndescriptible to promote the Gospel of Christ, suffered also in this primeraPersecución under Nero. Obadiah says that when he set his execution Nero sent two of his knights, and Partemio Ferega, to give him the news I was going to be dead. Arriving at Paul, who was instructing the people, asked to pray for them, so they believe. He told them that shortly after they believe and be baptized before his sepulcro.Hecho this, the soldiers came and took him out of the city to the place of execution, where, after prayer, gave his neck to the sword.

The Evangelist Luke, was the author of the Gospel that bears his name. He traveled to several countries, and is supposed to have been hanged on an olive tree by idolatrous priests of Greece.

Juan
The "beloved disciple" was the brother of James the Greater. Churches Smyrna, Pergamum, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea and Thyatira, were founded. Ephesus was sent to Rome where he was allegedly thrown into a boiler of boiling oil. Miraculously escaped without harm. Domitian afterwards banished to the island of Patmos, where he wrote the Book Revelation. Nerva, the successor of Domitian, released him. It was the only apostle who escaped a violent death.

Barnabas was from Cyprus, but of Jewish descent. It assumes your death your place about 73 AD And despite all these continuous persecutions and horrible punishments, the Church grew daily, deeply rooted in the doctrine of apostles and apostolic men, and sprinkled liberally with the saints.

Judas brother of James, was commonly called Thaddeus. He was crucified at Edessa, AD 72

nickname Simon Zelotes, preached the Gospel in Mauritania, Africa, even in Britain, where he was crucified in 74 AD

Thomas called Didymus, preached the Gospel in Parthia and India, where the pagan priests lead to anger, was martyred, pierced with spears.

Bartholomew preached in several countries, and having translated the Gospel of Matthew language of India, he propagated it in that country. Finally he was cruelly beaten and then crucified by the impatient idolaters.

Andrés
Brother of Peter, preached the gospel to many nations of Asia, but his arrival at Edessa he was taken and crucified on a cross whose ends were fixed transversely in the ground. Hence the origin of the term of Cruz de San Andrés. Matthias

less is known about him than most of the disciples, was elected to fill the vacancy left by Judas. He was stoned at Jerusalem and then beheaded. James the Less

Some suppose that it was the brother of our Lord by a former wife of Joseph. This is very doubtful, and accords too much with the Catholic superstition, that Mary never had other children never more than our Salvador. Was chosen to oversee the churches of Jerusalem, and was the author of the Epistle ascribed to James, or Santiago, in the sacred canon. At the age of ninety-nine years he was beaten and stoned by the Jews, and finally had his skull with a fuller's club.

Felipe was born in Bethsaida of Galilee, and was first called by the name of "disciple." He labored diligently in Upper Asia, and suffered martyrdom at Heliopolis, in Phrygia. He was scourged, thrown into prison and then crucified in 54 AD James the Great

The next martyr we meet in the story of Luke, in the history of the Acts of the Apostles, James son of Zebedee, brother of John and relative of our Lord, for his mother Salome was cousin of the Virgin Mary. It was not until ten years after the death of Stephen that the second martyrdom took place. It happened that as soon as Herod Agrippa was appointed governor of Judea, in order to curry favor with them, he raised a sharp persecution against Christians, determined to make an effective strike, and striking at their leaders. One should not overlook the account given by an eminent primitive writer, Clement of Alexandria. Tells us that when James was siendoconducido the place of his martyrdom, his accuser was brought to repentance, fell at his feet to beg pardon, professing Christian, and deciding that James was not going to receive the crown of martyrdom alone. Therefore, both were beheaded together. So cheerfully and resolutely receive the first apostolic martyr that cup, he had told our Savior he was ready to drink. Timon and Parmenas suffered martyrdom about the same time, the one at Philippi, and the other in Macedonia. These events took place AD 44

Esteban San Esteban was the next to suffer. His death was caused by the faithfulness with which he preached the Gospel to the betrayers and murderers of Christ. Were excited them to such a degree of fury, he was fired outside the city, stoned to death. The time when he suffered is generally assumed as the post-Passover of the crucifixion of our Lord, and at the time of His ascension, in the following spring. Then a great persecution arose against all who professed their belief in Christ as Messiah, or as a prophet. St. Luke tells us immediately that "at that time there was a great persecution against the church in Jerusalem", and "they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles." About two thousand Christians, with Nicanor, one of the seven deacons, suffered martyrdom during the "tribulation that arose about Stephen. "
